We are celebrating International Woman’s Day on the 8th of March by opening “Against the Tides 2011’’ an Art Exhibition with over 12 Genres of Art forms on Display which include Paintings, Photography, Digital Art, Comic Art, Graphic Art, Holograms, Sculpture, Spiritual Art, Fabric Art, Food Art & more- this year over 50 Artists from various fields of expertise will be participating at the show including seasoned Artists and Students of Arts from various Schools and Universities.

Our Show will be inaugurated by Ms. Hetal Pawani, who is an Artist and Owner of The JamJar Art Gallery in Dubai, the Opening is on the 8th of March at 8:00pm – at the Festival Centre, Dubai Festival City.

It’s a FREE entry and all are welcomed to visit, this is the first of its kind Art Exhibition where the visitors will be given an Opportunity to VOTE for their top three favorite Artists – on the 12th of March – we will announce the winners at the closing ceremony at Dubai Festival City.

We welcome you to be inspired and support the talent present in the region and encourage Art & Culture by placing your Vote at the show.

The Venue: Festival Centre, Dubai Festival City, Near Toys R US and Sun and Sand Sports area, on the ground floor.

The show dates: 8th March - 12th of March 2011

The show timings: 10.00am - 10.00pm
